Hawes Junction event

On Sunday 21st May 2023 the Friends of Hawes Junction Chapel arranged a walk in the afternoon followed by tea. About 25 people took part in the walk, led by Andrew, which saw them step out around Grisedale. The weather was kind and it was dry underfoot so they were able to enjoy hearing the history of the buildings and the area. Many of those attending had family connections to the dale.

Afterwards everyone enjoyed a very welcome tea in the chapel.
